Five Fiji police officers have been charged with various offences, including money laundering, domestic violence restraining order breach, abuse of office, and unlawful drug possession.
Acting Commissioner Juki Fong Chew reassured the public that these charges are part of ongoing efforts to maintain integrity within the force.
He praised the support shown by provincial councils, religious organizations, and the private and public sectors in addressing the illicit drug trade.
The Fiji Police Force remains committed to enhancing transparency and accountability to ensure the safety and security of all Fijians.
