Accused serial rapist and murderer, Josua Colanaudolu’s trial proper will begin in the Suva High Court today.
Colanaudolu is facing two counts of rape, one count of murder and one count of abduction.

He is alleged to have raped and murdered, 14-year-old, Mere Alievu in Deuba three years ago.
The matter was heard in a closed court for two weeks.
The court earlier heard that Colanaudolu has a history as a dangerous sexual predator with offenses dating back to 1998.
He is represented by the Legal Aid Commission lawyers.
