A man accused of sexually assaulting his niece in Labasa has been charged with one count of the crime. The accused entered the victim’s room while they were sleeping and committed the offense.
The victim alerted her parents about the incident.
The accused was bailed for $500 with strict conditions, and the case was adjourned to July 30, 2024, for a plea. An interim Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DCVRO) has been placed against the accused.
