A 56-year-old man is set to appear in the Suva High Court for allegedly raping his niece in Nasinu between April and May.
The incident involved the accused threatening to inform the victim’s aunt about a sexual encounter with a boy and leading her to their backyard garden.
The victim reported the incident to a friend, who informed their teacher.
Nakasi Police investigated the case, and the accused was first produced at Nasinu Magistrates Court.
