The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission has teamed up with the Global Anti-Scam Alliance.
This will strengthen consumer protection against scams in the country.
This partnership will support the Anti-Scam Taskforce and enhance anti-scam efforts.
The collaboration is particularly important as Fiji is facing increased vulnerability due to more sophisticated fraudulent schemes.
National Scam Awareness Week is scheduled to take place from the 26th to the 30th.
The goal is to provide Fijians with the necessary information to protect themselves from scams.
