The National Fire Authority in Fiji is investigating a series of fires that have occurred in the Western Division over the past three days.
The Catholic Church at Raviravi, Ba, was destroyed by fire, costing $80,000.
The fire also destroyed a four-bedroom corrugated iron and timber house in Mulomulo, Nadi, and a two-bedroom concrete and timber house in Moala Village, Nadi, causing damage totaling around $60,000.
The owner attempted to extinguish the fire, but it was unsuccessful. Investigations are ongoing to determine the probable cause of these fires.
The fires occurred in the Western Division, with the estimated cost of damage at around $60,000.
