Police are investigating the alleged murder of a 59-year-old woman in Naitata, Navua, after her body was found with multiple wounds.
The victim’s husband reported the incident to Crime Stoppers, and a team from the Navua Police Station and Crime Scene Investigations was deployed to the crime scene.
ACP Mesake Waqa has directed an extensive investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
The Southern Division of Crime oversees the investigation and is supported by the Criminal Investigations Department.
