A team from the Biosecurity Authority of Fiji has been deployed to Viani, in Savusavu to investigate the finding of a suspected American Iguana.
FBC News understands, the iguana was found by some villagers near the sea at Matanikunea.

BAF confirms, they have been made aware of the discovery and the team from American Iguana Eradication Taskforce has been deployed to the area to look into the finding.
The team will try to confirm if it is really the American Iguana, which up until now – was reportedly contained in Taveuni.
