Thakur Punja, the son of a prominent businessman, is set to face trial for allegedly possessing cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana in Lami.
The trial date has been set after two pre-trial conferences in August.
Punja appeared before Suva Magistrate Yogesh Prasad without his lawyer, Iqbal Khan, but was represented by another lawyer.
The prosecution has only submitted agreed statements, and the case has been adjourned to August 2nd.
Punja is charged with unlawful possession of 0.84 grams of methamphetamine, 5.447 grams of cocaine, and 6.6 grams of marijuana.
Khan has requested the names of all police officers involved in the arrest, raid, and escort, as well as the search team supervisor and dog handler, to give statements.
