Acting Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica has announced that the Anti-Scam Taskforce has developed a comprehensive strategy to protect Fijians from online scams.
The task force aims to increase scam awareness, strengthen institutional frameworks, pursue legal reforms, and launch targeted educational initiatives.
The task force also provides updates on eBay scams and ongoing investigations.
Two individuals have been convicted and sentenced in 104 fraudulent cases under investigation, demonstrating that justice will prevail and those involved will be held accountable.
