FijiFirst Party’s official Facebook page has been deactivated. The party is likely deregistered because it did not follow the Political Parties Act requirements for amending its constitution.
The party’s social media page only promoted Voreqe Bainimarama and Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, who resigned. MPs claim they never had access to the official party page set up last year to inform voters about their activities.
FijiFirst has no office bearers, including Bainimarama, Sayed-Khaiyum, and Acting General Secretary Faiyaz Koya, as all have resigned.
