As we approach the highly anticipated Deans Secondary School Rugby Quarterfinals, it’s important to note that the police will not tolerate unruly behavior from parents, guardians, students, and supporters.

The Director of Traffic, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana, has announced that traffic officers will be vigilant and ready to confiscate any materials, such as flags, that are being used dangerously by moving vehicles. This vigilance is to ensure your safety during the Deans Secondary School Rugby Quarterfinals.

“Traffic officers will be more visible along the Queen’s Highway, major arterial roads, and the capital city. It’s prohibited to fly flags outside the windows of buses and cars. We urge parents, teachers, and guardians to monitor children’s behavior strictly.”

“Drivers are advised to plan their travel in advance to avoid rushing. We seek everyone’s cooperation to prevent major incidents on our roads.” SSP Divuana stressed that accidents can be prevented by changing mindsets and realizing that everyone has a role to play in road safety.
