Two men died in an accident in Wailoaloa, Nadi, due to suspected speeding and alcohol.
The two were passengers in a vehicle driven by a 30-year-old man who lost control while trying to overtake another car.
The remaining three passengers sustained serious injuries. Initial information suggests speeding and alcohol were the causes of the accident.
Investigations continue.
