The search for a father and his son continues after they failed to return from a fishing trip at the Sigatoka river on Saturday.
The Police Search and Rescue centre has confirmed that pieces of the boat that was carrying 43‑year‑old John Knowles of Kulukulu, Sigatoka and his 11‑year‑old son Ilisoni Naulumatua was found at the mouth of the Sigatoka river late yesterday.

Police say the pieces were confirmed by the owner to be from the missing boat.
The two left for the trip on Saturday and a missing persons report was filed at the Sigatoka Police Station when they failed to return.
