Yusuf says Amani Makoe and Samuela Kautoga were suspended by the Fiji Football Association six weeks ago when they failed a random test.

“They will play for Rewa because we did the second test on their drug test and they were proved negative so we had a written letter approving them they can play in all level.”

Yusuf also says Ilimotama Jese of Nadi has also been cleared to play who was suspended for violating the transfer regulations in February this year.

Meanwhile, the tournament kicks off at 1pm on Friday where Suva plays Rakiraki in the opening match at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park.

At 3pm, Nadi plays Ba after which Dreketi takes on Labasa at 5.30pm.

In the last match of Day one, hosts Rewa takes on Lautoka at 7.30pm.

In the Vodafone Senior League match, Navua thrashed Northland Tailevu 10-2.
