Updated: 10:19am – A flood alert is now in force for low lying areas and areas adjacent to major rivers of Vanua Levu and for Rewa catchment.

The Fiji Meteorological Services reveals that the water level at Naqali station was 3.28m at 7am today which is 0.78m above alert level and increasing

This as a trough of low pressure lies over the southern parts of the group.

Meanwhile, another trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers affects the group from north.
