Updated: 6:40am – A different Ricki Herbert is returning to New Zealand football.
After time in India, Papua New Guinea and the Maldives, the former Wellington Phoenix and All Whites manager will coach Hamilton in this year’s domestic football competition.

Herbert says he’s returning with a different outlook on football.
He says he’s come back with a lot of knowledge and understanding on what’s happening in world football.
The domestic football Premiership’s been launched in Auckland today, with the first match on October 22nd.
