Updated: 6:50am – Acting Prime Minister, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum yesterday called those hiding behind fake profiles on social media “cowards” for using those fake profiles to attack religions and ethnic groups.
While addressing parliament yesterday on the concerns the government has about the use of social media in the country, Sayed-Khaiyum says some pages and forums on social media have become a web of lies, racism, mistruth, bullying and hatred.

He says not surprisingly it is always almost the same cowards who hide being the same fake profiles that put up lies on social media.
