A fatal collision occurred in Waikato, resulting in the death of a 49-year-old man. His Mazda collided with a white Toyota Landcruiser on Boyd Road near Williamson Road.
The Toyota driver, who sustained serious injuries, may have been involved in a dispute with the Audi A3 driver.
The Audi left Horsham Downs Primary School at 10 am, followed by the Toyota. Both cars were speeding along Boyd Road, and as the Toyota tried to overtake the Audi, it collided with the Mazda.
The investigation into the crash is complex, and the police request witnesses to come forward with any dashcam footage, security footage, or other vehicle imagery capturing the incident.
