A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the West Coast’s SH6.
Emergency services arrived at the scene in Paroa around 4 p.m., and the motorcyclist was confirmed dead shortly before 7 p.m.
The incident is under investigation, with Main South Rd closed while the Serious Crash Unit conducts a scene examination.
The NZ Transport Agency reported that SH6 was closed near the intersection of Clough Rd for several hours.
