A 39-year-old woman was arrested for a “hate-motivated crime” that took place on an Auckland bus On 28 June.
The assault occurred on Pakuranga Road, leading to serious injuries for one person.

Acting Detective Senior Sergeant James Mapp confirmed that the incident was indeed a hate-motivated crime.
Following a search warrant at a property in Pakuranga, the woman has been charged with wounding with intent to wound.
She is scheduled to appear in the Manukau District Court on 9 July.
