Four teenagers, aged 14-15, have been arrested after an alleged stabbing outside a fuel station in Kawerau, New Zealand.

The incident occurred around 12:35 p.m. on Friday, following reports of a confrontation involving a group of young people.

One person was found in critical condition with injuries consistent with stab wounds and is currently in stable condition at Waikato Hospital. Multiple knives have been seized, a scene examination has been conducted, and the police have spoken with several individuals in the area.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information who has not yet been interviewed is asked to contact the staff at the Kawerau police station, call 105 and quote file number 240621/4014, or make an anonymous tip via Crime Stoppers.

A spokesperson for Gull New Zealand stated that the “violent incident” involved members of the public and took place outside Gull’s owner-operated Kawerau site but then moved to part of the forecourt.
