Four teenagers have been arrested in Auckland after multiple violent thefts at businesses. Three of the arrested individuals, aged 15, 16, and 17, are facing charges for the aggravated robbery of a Papatoetoe jewelry store on Sunday.

The store owner was struck in the head with a hammer, resulting in a fractured skull.

The arrests were made after police simultaneously executed five search warrants in different parts of the city. The 15-year-old was also allegedly involved in three other violent thefts.

All three teens are scheduled to appear in the Manukau Youth Court, charged with aggravated robbery with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Additionally, the 15- and 16-year-olds are facing additional charges of assault and aggravated assault, respectively. The fourth teenager arrested, a 15-year-old male, allegedly participated in the aggravated robbery of a New Windsor dairy on June 8.

Investigators are actively working to identify those responsible and bring them to justice.
