A woman living in a Flat Bush home was the victim of a violent home invasion that left one person injured.
Police were called to the two-story house on Chianti Close on Thursday to reports of an aggravated robbery.
Two men entered the home and seriously assaulted someone living there before taking some items and fleeing before police arrived.
The woman, who has lived there for nine years, believes the incident was a “random event” and that the people who came were looking for cash.
No one has been arrested, but police are “trying hard to find the men.” The injured man was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries, and those involved are yet to be found.
Police found a car they believe could be linked to the crime, which is being examined.
Anyone with information is urged to call police on 105 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
