A 27-year-old man has been charged with murdering 23-year-old Aliyah Phillips Wilson, who was found critically injured at a home in Palmerston North last week.
The homicide investigation began after Wilson died of her injuries at the scene.
The 27-year-old was arrested without incident after a search warrant was carried out at a home in Highbury. He is due to appear before the Palmerston North District Court today.
Police are pleased with the arrest and hope it brings reassurance to Wilson’s family and the community.
