The police are currently searching for a woman who robbed a store in Mount Maunganui at gunpoint. Caltex NZ has confirmed that their Bayfair station was the location of the incident.
The robbery took place on Girven Rd at 5:50 am on Friday. The woman entered the store and brandished a firearm before leaving with cash and other items.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The police are actively investigating the incident and are pursuing various leads to identify and apprehend the suspect.
