Six teenagers were apprehended following a robbery in Auckland's Pukekohe
Six teenagers were arrested in Pukekohe, Auckland.

Six young people, aged 13 to 15, were arrested in Pukekohe, Auckland, yesterday following a fleeing driver incident.

The individuals had vandalized a stolen vehicle concerning an aggravated robbery on King St, Waiuku. The driver and one other person were caught at the scene while the other four occupants tried to escape on foot.

The Eagle helicopter was quickly deployed to track the vehicle, which was eventually stopped on Percheron Rd.

The remaining suspects were apprehended without further incident, demonstrating the police’s unwavering commitment to public safety.

The 13-year-old and 15-year-old were charged with aggravated robbery, while the 15-year-old was also charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, and failing to stop.

The other four suspected offenders were referred to Youth Aid.
