Police seek public assistance to locate Ashleigh Houston, a Manawatū-based individual suspected of engaging in Facebook Marketplace scams.
Ashleigh is believed to be in the Manawatū area but also has connections to the Whanganui and Taranaki regions.
Police are seeking information on her whereabouts or any information that may help them locate her.
Meanwhile, Manawatū, Taranaki, and Whanganui-Ruapehu police have warned people about the risks of buying and selling goods on social media, stating that it can be difficult to verify good intentions and that people who have arranged to meet up with someone have been robbed or threatened with violence.
