Police in the Whangārei district have released CCTV images of a man they are seeking in connection with a fatal house fire in late April.
The fire, which took the life of 61-year-old Hoani Reuben, also known as John, happened at a Thomas St address in Tikipunga.
Investigators later determined that the fire was deliberately set, leading to a homicide investigation.
The police are asking anyone who may have seen or recognized the person in the images to come forward. They are also seeking information about the owner of a bicycle.
