A two-vehicle crash in Tauranga resulted in one person’s death and a second person’s critical injury.
Police arrived at the scene at around 7:30 pm, and the road was closed while the serious crash unit investigated the scene.
In another accident, a single-vehicle crash near Nelson resulted in the death of one person, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle. This occurred at 6:15 pm on Main Rd, Hope.
Police are investigating the circumstances of both incidents.
