A small commercial building fire in Feilding was put out by Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ), resulting in two people being hospitalized.
FENZ received calls around 10 am and responded with two crews, ensuring everyone was accounted for.
Crews assessed and treated the fire, and the patients were transported to Palmerston North Hospital in moderate condition.
FENZ confirmed the fire was extinguished, and a fire investigator would attend the scene.
