A Dunedin woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly assaulting a mother and hitting her with a car.
The victim, a 54-year-old, was walking with her daughters when a 43-year-old woman drove at excessive speeds.
The driver, a 43-year-old woman, pulled up aggressively towards her, leading to a verbal altercation.
The driver slapped the victim’s phone and struck her. The driver was arrested and charged with dangerous driving, assault, and making threatening remarks.
The victim called the police, and the driver was bailed to appear in court next week.
