Heavy rain overnight in Auckland has cut power to hundreds of households and and caused flooding and slips.
Nearly 900 houses in Whitford, Takanini and Clevedon in are without power.

Civil Defence are working to clear roads after the stormy weather caused a number of slips.
Fire Service were called to the Clevedon area after multiple homes began flooding.
Police say the following roads in the Beachlands and Maraetai area have been blocked due to flooding and slips.
