Update: 9:41pm – The Rakirkai football side will be looking to get some points when they face leaders Lautoka in the Vodafone Premier League this weekend.

The westerners have one point on the ladder and know they need points to avoid relegation.

Team President, Shaneel Gounder says the team is aware of the task ahead and will be out to create an upset this week.

“Our focus has always been the national league. Our aim is to remain in the top division next season and we will do our utmost best. We know we have to start getting points and we will try our best to do that.”

Rakiraki plays Lautoka at 3pm on Sunday at Churchill Park.

In other matches, Rewa plays Dreketi at 3.30pm on Saturday at Labasa’s Subrail Park before which Labasa takes on Suva at 1.30pm.

At the same venue on Sunday, Dreketi plays Suva at 1.30pm after which Labasa battles Rewa at 3.30pm.

In another match on Saturday, Ba hosts Nadi at 3pm at Govind Park.
