Update: 6:22am – The Inkk Mobile Battle of Giants tournament has been won mostly by Rewa and Ba in the last 10 years.
While Ba is out of the tournament, the Delta Tigers have a great chance of securing their second title this season.
The star-studded Lautoka side has played four since 2007 but only won it last year beating Labasa 2 nil at Ratu Cakobau Park.
Lautoka President Abdul Kadar says they are confident of beating Nadi and reaching the final this year.
“I think there shouldn’t be any problem in that but we are not taking Nadi lightly, they will be coming strong because it’s a semi-final.”
Lautoka plays Nadi at 3pm on Saturday at Churchill Park and in the first semi-final today, Rewa hosts Labasa at Ratu Cakobau at 7.30pm.
The final is scheduled for 2.30pm on Sunday at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
