UPDATED: 7:07am – The Rewa Football side is likely to miss the service of seven key players in the Vodafone Premier League matches this weekend.
Lorima Dau, Tevita Waranivalu, Samu Kautoga, Taione Kerevanua, Mitieli Namuka and Josateki Tamudu are all nursing injuries while Peniame Drova is on double yellow card.
Rewa’s assistant coach Tagi Vonolagi says its difficult time for the team but he will try and field the best players against Ba and Nadi this weekend.
“We have players who are injured and we are hoping some could be cleared. Seven players are out currently with injuries and yellow card but we will field a competitive team against two tough opponents.”
Rewa takes on Ba, 3pm at Govind Park on Saturday. At 2pm on same day, Rakiraki hosts Dreketi at the FSCGrounds.
On Sunday, three matches will be played at 3pm, Ba hosts Dreketi at Govind Park, Lautoka plays Suva at Churchill Park and Nadi takes on Rewa at Prince Charles Park.
