Police have arrested a second man in connection with a shooting that left one person critically injured. This occurred outside a Palmerston North bar last month.
31-year-old was charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Also, with unlawful possession of a firearm and assault with intent to injure.
The incident occurred on August 13 and was reported to have left one person with an injury consistent with a gunshot wound.
The arrest follows that of a 28-year-old man on August 22. Police are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
