2019 Fiji Sportsman of Year, Jerry Tuwai has been named close by colleagues Meli Derenalagi and Vilimoni Botitu for the Fijian 7s Male Player of the Year Award in the Fiji Rugby Annual Awards tomorrow.
Tuwai is the present World Rugby 7s Player of the Year while Fiji 7s commander, Derenalagi was additionally World Rugby 7s Rookie of the Year.
Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s cooperative individuals Raijeli Dave, Tokasa Seniyasi, and Aloesi Nakoci will vie for the Fijiana 7s Female Player of the Year Award.
Plain Lomani, Semi Radradra, and Mosese Voka have been assigned for the Flying Fijians Player of the Year Award.
Fiji Rugby Chief Executive John O’Connor says the Annual Awards is an opportunity to recognize the difficult work and commitment to rugby and praise the individuals who have exceeded expectations for the year 2019.
In the meantime, Fiji 7s mentor Gareth Baber is relied upon to name his 13 part group for the Los Angeles 7s today.
Fiji’s first pool coordinate in the Los Angeles 7s is against South Korea at 6.51 am this Sunday.
