Stree 2, a sequel to Stree (2018), has received positive reviews and a strong audience response.
The film features Akshay Kumar in a special role, written by Niren Bhatt and directed by Amar Kaushik.
Kumar will have two releases this Independence Day, playing the lead role in Khel Khel Mein.
Tamannaah Bhatia also stars in Stree 2 and Vedaa, while Abhishek Banerjee will play the antagonist in Vedaa and the funny sidekick in Stree 2.
The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in principal roles.
Stree 2 is part of the Maffock Horror Comedy Universe, which also includes Bhediya (2022) and Munjya (2024). Varun Dhawan, the lead in Bhediya, is also featured in Stree 2.
