Manors on Qoma Island in Tailevu were not saved by Tropical Cyclone Yasa.
Resident Saimone Qiolevu says the solid breeze and substantial downpour brought by TC Yasa assaulted their ranches including root yields, vegetables, and animals.

Qiolevu says they were proactive after TC Winston devastated most houses on the island.
“We arranged for TC Yasa in light of the exercises we gained from TC Winston in 2016. We arranged and just our ranches were influenced. No houses were crushed and we were all protected.”
He says they cooperated as a town to guarantee that everybody was protected from the tornado.
Qoma Island was likewise not saved by TC Winston in 2016.
