Team Fiji football coach Christophe Gamel Upset With Strikers

Updated: 6:50am – Team Fiji football coach Christophe Gamel was angry with the performance of strikers Christopher Wasasala and Setareki Hughes.

He made the comment after they beat Tonga 4-0 at Port Vila Stadium, Vanuatu yesterday.

“They failed to make a difference in the second half and I am really angry. They do not deserve to represent the national team.”

Gamel made it clear that he would be dealing with Wasasala and Hughes when they return to Fiji next week.

“These boys think they are very good when they are nothing.”

“If you do not play with consistency you will lose out.”

He said players needed to remember who they are representing and need to work extra hard.
