The United Nations alongside UNICEF has conveyed 25 birthing assistants to the Tropical Cyclone Yasa influenced zones.

With schools opening tomorrow UN Resident Coordinator Sanaka Samarasinha says they will give psychosocial backing to kids.

The 25 birthing assistants are resigned wellbeing laborers who will remain in the networks for a quarter of a year.

“Psychosocial uphold right now from the UN side is something that been accomplished more by UNICEF with kids and somewhat UNFPA who are preparing birthing assistants.”

Neighborhood specialists have distinguished emotional well-being issues as a potential worry because of the pressure and injury of TC Yasa.
