Chief of Elections Mohammed Saneem has revealed one Biu Solia, who professed to have been a political decision official in the 2018 General Election and made different charges corresponding to surveying, results and then some.

Saneem explained the reports distributed in the present The Fiji Times with the FEO’s authentic records from the 2018 General Election.

Saneem affirms there was nobody by the name of Biu Solia as detailed by the paper as a Presiding Officer at the Wailotua Polling Center.

“The Presiding Officer at this Polling Station was Mr. Waisiki Tamani. There is no record of any individual of the name Biu Solia to have embraced any job as a political decision official at Wailotua Polling Station. We have scanned our data set for her and from our records, we can say that no individual by that name at any point worked for the Fijian Elections office”.

Saneem says that such a case is in penetrate of Section 142 (c) of the Electoral Act, 2014.

He adds it gives off an impression of being an instance of pantomime of a political race official basically to dishonor crafted by a great many individuals who worked in the political decision.

The Supervisor of Elections says the FEO won’t mess with such conduct and they trust the individual is gotten and brought under the watchful eye of the law.
