The Fiji Police Force received a major boost in their search and rescue operations

The Fiji Police Force got a significant lift in their pursuit and salvage activities adrift after the Japanese Government gave more than $5.5 million worth of sea wellbeing and security gear.

This incorporates one watch boat, 22 salvage boats, 11 inflatable boats, submerged specialized gadgets and cameras and 31 scuba plunging hardware sets.

While accepting the gear, Minister for Defense and National Security Inia Seruiratu says this has come at the correct time as there has been a new expansion in cataclysmic events.

Seruiratu says this will help police in extraordinary medication activities and waterfront harbor watches.

Japanese Ambassador to Fiji, Kawakami Fumihiro says he is trusting that this will give further help to Police as various boats given by Japan were utilized for salvage tasks during the new flooding.
