Updated: 11:05pm – The second day of Eid Cup Finals ended on a positive note. The teams performed well on field. It was very scintillating match between Kelston and Takanini with score line of 6 -1. Hamid Azmi was the star of the match scoring 3 goals alone.

The match between Lynnfield and Mangere ended in a stalemate. However was a very thrilling encounter. Both teams had multiple attempts at goal, however the defence at both ends held firm. The score remained nil all. The exciting play between Greenbay and Onehunga remained at score line of 1-1. Both teams showed strong defence till the second half of the match.

The President of NZMSA highlighted the whole day’s events and congratulated all the players, teams and officials for their good performance. He expects a positive outcome for tomorrow with the day ending on a friendly note. Ranging from local to international players, the matches are quite challenging and thrilling to watch.
