Rapper Raftaar and singer Anmol Malik have come together for a special project. They have made a new song for hit TV show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain.
The video, shared on Facebook by &TV, shows the stars of the show and Raftaar swinging to the song. Saumya Tandon dons a shimmery golden dress and Shubhangi Atre switches her ordinary sari for a more glamourous one.
Aashif Sheikh and Rohitash Gaud also appear in tuxedos.
The song has Raftaar weave his magic with words in a rap verse,
while Anmol takes the lead on the main verse and chorus. The lyrics of the song have been specially crafted to suit the tempo of the show.
This is the first time that Raftaar and Anmol have lent their voice to a television series.
“This is a really new experience for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain is one of the comedy shows that I regularly watch online as I am constantly travelling and I love the characters in it.
So when Mr. Anurag Bedi, from Zee Music Label approached me for it, I instantly thought about including the plot of the show and the characters that stand out so very well.
This was an experimental thought, but it all fit in beautifully. People think I am a serious rapper, but the Bhabhiji song will showcase a fun side of me – something that I have thoroughly enjoyed working on.
I am looking forward to people’s reaction to this song,” said Raftaar.
Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain is about the lives of two neighbours,
who love their own wives, but don’t miss a chance to woo each other’s wives either.
