Two ladies who flew from Auckland to Fiji and later tried positive for Covid-19 had just traveled through New Zealand, the Ministry of Health says.
Fiji wellbeing specialists said the ladies, matured 49 and 58, showed up in Fiji on flight NZ492 on December 24.
New Zealand’s Ministry of Health says the two travelers traveled through Auckland, subsequent to coming from higher danger zones.
It said it was not surprising to have traveling travelers later testing positive.
The two ladies were asymptomatic during their whole stay at Fiji’s disengagement office in Nadi.
They have since been taken to a disengagement ward in Lautoka.
