Naisaramaki told the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama a week ago, this has caused a gigantic disintegration along their foreshore.

A few homes and the town nursing station currently sits a few meters from the disintegrated shoreline.

Naisaramaki says the town elderly folks have recognized a real estate parcel for the town to move to and they are looking for government’s help with setting up the land for the migration.

The Prime Minister told the residents, it is significant that from this point forward, the individuals who mean to assemble their homes are to do as such on higher grounds.

Bainimarama adds it is not, at this point protected to fabricate homes by the ocean, considering environmental change and its effect on our territory.
