Water supply has finally been restored on Galoa Island

Water supply has at last been reestablished on Galoa Island, over a month after TC Yasa harmed the lowered water framework that provisions water from the territory.

Water Authority of Fiji jumpers with the assistance of the Fiji Navy had been chipping away at laying new submerged lines seven days after TC Yasa hit.

The work incorporates fixing pipeline associations from the territory, fixing the association on the island and the general laying of the pipelines across the ocean from Lekutu.

ADF faculty were additionally helping, moving material to the worksite.

The line laying and association was finished one day in front of the upcoming cutoff time.

The school and locals will currently get water on their taps.

Galoa Village Headman Simone Makosoi prior revealed to FBC News, they were stressed over water supply because of the harm to the lowered framework.

The town has a 22,000-liter tank giving water to the entire town.

Makosoi says they are appreciative to WAF, the Fiji Navy, ADF and the public authority for guaranteeing their water supply is back ready for action.
