Jerry Tuwai, a double Olympic gold medalist, has confirmed his commitment to the national team in Paris for his third Olympic Games.
Despite being dropped by coach Ben Gollings earlier this year, Tuwai has assured his teammates that he will be present with the national team.
He has always promised his boys that he would return and play in his third Olympics. After a week in Libourne, the national team had their first training run in Paris, and Tuwai looked sharp.
All 16 teams use four grounds about 8km from the Games Village, with Fiji, Argentina, and Australia using them simultaneously.
Team Fiji Men’s 7s and Australia travelled in the same bus from the village to the training facility.
